Today (thurs) is the final leg of the trip for pipe modules going from Carlyle to the Chinook Power Plant near Swift Current. The pipe modules have been traversing Saskatchewan highways since Monday. The load leaves at 8:30 this morning from the Highway Gravel Yard on Highway 4 North, 1 kilometre south of Junction 43. The plan is to arrive at their destination today which is the Chinook Power Station. Richards Transport is transporting the pipe modules and the average highway speed will be 40 kilometres an hour. The load will pull over approximately every 10 kilometres to allow traffic to pass. Pilot vehicles will also be present.
