Who buys jewelry from people on the street? Apparently some people do. Last week, Saskatoon Police warned of a man and a woman, around 40 or 50 years old, trying to sell fake jewelry. They had heavy accents and were connected to a vehicle with Ontario licence plate. Now, North Battleford RCMP say they’re getting calls about a group of people selling fake jewelry in parking lots of local businesses. Police say at least three couples are involved. They remind people to confirm the quality of jewelry before buying it. If you are approached by anyone, you are advised to contact the local police department.
