The volunteer search has concluded for a 4 year old Prince Albert boy, but the search continues by trained personnel.
Prince Albert Police says after interviewing witnesses and from evidence located, the search team are now focusing all efforts to the North Saskatchewan River.
Sweetgrass Kennedy was reported missing on Thursday and hundreds of volunteers came out to help, along with trained search and rescue personnel, the Prince Albert Police, the Saskatoon Police Service Air Support Unit and the Prince Albert Fire Department.
Saskatchewan Emergency Management Fire and Safety were also deployed.
Emergency crews thank the public for the overwhelming support in the search for Sweetgrass.
Due to the dangers associated with the river bank, the public and volunteers are asked to avoid the area.
