The moose who were on the loose in north Saskatoon this morning have been captured by conservation officers. Saskatoon Police say they are being transferred to a place of safety.
Saskatoon Police were advising motorists to drive with extra caution this morning. At 5 a.m. two moose were seen in the area of circle Drive and Avenue C North. Police and conservation officers worked together to get the moose to safety. Back on April 20th, a young moose was tranquilized after leading conservation officials on a merry chase through Pierre Radisson Park and surrounding areas. After falling asleep in the 17-hundred block of Avenue H, that young moose was taken out of the city where it was released.
