The Saskatoon Stars will try to complete a perfect run of regulation time victories over the other five teams taking part in the Esso Cup in Nova Scotia when they take on the Northern Selects from the Atlantic Region Thursday afternoon.

       On Wednesday, the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA champs out-shot the host Metro-Boston Pizza squad 49-6 on the way to a 6-0 victory. The six shots against is a tournament record for fewest shots allowed in a game. Mackenna Parker had two goals and two assists while Joelle Fiala, Ashley Messier, Kaitlin Jockims and Grace Shirley had the other goals for Saskatoon. Fiala, Messier and Shirley had a goal and an assist apiece, while Anna Leschyshyn contributed a pair of helpers. Arden Kliewer recorded the six-save shutout…her second of the tournament. In fact, the Stars have out-scored the opposition 18-1 in their four victories.
