A 16-year member of the Saskatoon Police Service is facing a charge of sexual assault following an investigation by the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service. Constable Robert Brown was charged by members of the N-I-S on Tuesday, following an investigation into an off-duty incident that allegedly occurred last November 11th. Pursuant to the Police Act, Constable Brown has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of court proceedings. Nothing else about the allegation has been released.
