Sit disturbers – no that isn’t being pronounced incorrectly.
More than 40 women will be recognized as “Sit Disturbers” at Saskatchewan in motion events, partnering with Saskatchewan Blue Cross.
Sit Disturbers are women who work and volunteer to get more kids moving more often.
This Jewels and Gems night includes an exhibit of necklaces design in tribute of 40 inspiring women in Canadian history including Saskatchewan’s Hayley Wickenheiser, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Catriona Le May Doan and Linda Haverstock.
Saskatoon’s event is April 24th and Regina’s is April 26th.
