The Saskatoon High School Junior Badminton City Championships start today and run through tomorrow. Today features preliminary pool play with 15 schools split into four pools. The top two from each pool advance to tomorrow’s championship pool play. Today’s events will be held at St. Joseph, Walter Murray, Mount Royal and Evan Hardy…all beginning at 4:15 p.m. Tomorrow’s championship pools will be held at Walter Murray.
The International Ice Hockey Federation’s World Under-18 Men’s Championship starts today and runs through Sunday, April 29th in Chelyabinsk and Magnitogorsk, Russia. Canada is one of 10 countries taking part in the two-pool round-robin plus playoffs format. On their schedule today…
