Transit Changes Up For Discussion at Open House

An open house will take place today (Tues) at the Alice Turner Library to give Saskatoon residents a chance to see new routes announced Monday. New high frequency routes on Preston Avenue and Attridge Drive will deliver 10 minute service with limited stops along Preston and Attridge up to Nelson Road and Lowe Road during weekdays. The city says this is another step towards Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).

For weekends, evenings and holidays service will be at 30 minute intervals. The changes go into effect July 1st. Tonight’s meeting is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Alice Turner Library. You can see details of the new routes at SaskatoonTransit.ca.
