Three members of the Saskatoon Blades have made the final list of rankings in advance of this year’s N-H-L Draft…according to Central Scouting.
Centre Chase Wouters (pictured) jumped up 11 spots from the mid-term rankings to 92nd amongst North American skaters. Left winger Eric Florchuk dropped from 93rd to 110th and right winger Josh Paterson comes on to the list at 163rd. The first W-H-L player on the list is Spokane defenceman and Lloydminster product Ty Smith at 14th. The first Saskatchewan-born skater…and first Prince Albert Raider…on the list is Estevan native Cole Fonstad at 65th. Fellow Raiders’ forward Kody McDonald comes in at 178th while P-A defenceman Brayden Pachal is ranked 200th. Right winger Andrei Svechnikov of the Ontario League’s Barrie Colts is the top-rated North American skater.
