Survivors of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash got a special visit from Lord Stanley’s Cup this weekend.
Tom Straschnitzki whose son Ryan was badly injured in the crash — says his son was amazed when the trophy appeared at his bedside.
He says Ryan was asked if he wanted to touch the cup, but he said he wanted to wait until he wins it someday.
Last week’s crash between the Broncos team bus and a transport truck in Saskatchewan left 16 people dead and 13 injured.
