SGI wants people to know safety is their number one priority. This statement from VP Kwei Quaye comes in light of many questions about the process in place in which one can obtain a class one drivers license. He says SGI is always doing what they can to make driving, no matter the vehicle, a safe venture. Kwei says one of the ways they’ve been working to do so is by having productive discussions with the training schools and Saskatchewan Trucking Association. They’re recommending 70 hours of training combined of in-class and practical studies, believing the training will be of higher quality, more effective and enhanced consistently province wide.
