Six athletes from Saskatchewan are competing in the Commonwealth Games which started Wednesday in Australia.
Included in the six-pack of athletes from Saskatchewan are diver Rylan Weins and Paralympic swimmer Samantha Ryan from Saskatoon, shot putter Taryn Suttie from Hanley and Paige Crozon from Humboldt with the women’s basketball team. Canada is a heavy hitter at these games and have set their sights on winning 100 medals.
