The province says there were eight confirmed losses by school divisions in the second quarter of the 2017-18 fiscal year. Three of them were in the Regina Public, School Division, two in Saskatchewan Rivers, one in South East Cornerstone, one in Prairie South, and one in Good Spirit. The biggest loss was $18,795 in Prairie South. The Ministry of Education says an employee was terminated; $6,749 was recovered. Police have been notified and attempts are being made to recover the outstanding balance. The next largest loss was $5,808 worth of interactive projectors that were lost when they were delivered to a school during a construction project. Again, police were informed.
