The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a two vehicle collision this morning just after 2:30 at the intersection of 24th Street and 2nd Avenue.
Once crews arrived they ensured the scene was safe and determined extrication was required to remove one person in one of the vehicles.
Crews used spreaders and cutters to complete the removal of the passenger side doors to allow driver to exit the vehicle.
While both vehicles sustained extensive damage, the extracted driver appeared to receive only minor injuries and the lone occupant of the other vehicle was uninjured.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
