Saskatchewan’s Health Minister has given a sneak peak at one of the items in the upcoming provincial budget.
Health critic Danielle Chartier called on the SaskParty government to provide support for families with autistic children, something that had promised 2 years ago.
Chartier says there is a spectrum of needs for children with autism and some require more intervention and support.
Jim Reiter says the commitment was deferred one year but they will be moving forward with it.
It includes $4-thousand per child with autism under 6 years old and it is part of the budget to be tabled April 10th. (CKRM)
