The wave of threatening emails across Canada also hit the prairies.
Saskatoon City Police say one business in the bridge city was evacuated for a short time as a precaution after receiving an emailed bomb threat demanding BitCoin currency.
Police say a patrol car was sent to the business in the 26-hundred block of Millar Avenue and employees were allowed to return to work shortly after.
Regina Police say there were aware of four emailed bomb threats in the queen city on Thursday.
Police say they were similar to those sent to major cities across the country, threatening to detonate a bomb in the targeted businesses unless payments are made by BitCoin.
Regina Police say even though the threats appeared to be unfounded they will investigate.
