In all of Saskatchewan, what is the best place to don those skates for a bit of outdoor gliding? Well, according to fashion website, Flare.com, Saskatoon holds the honour. The Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink next to the Bessborough Hotel is the place to skate according to Flare. Meewasin says, once the rink opens they average about 500 visitors per day. Last year, the season kicked off December 16th and lasted 92 says. Over 46 thousand people strapped their skates on throughout the season last year. The rink is scheduled to open Tuesday December 18th at noon. As long as the weather co-operates, it will remain open daily from noon until 9:00 P.M.
