A 29 year old man is facing a variety of charges after Prince Albert Police pulled over a car late Friday afternoon.

Police say officers could see an axe and crowbar in the back seat of the vehicle.

While a woman was being arrested on outstanding warrants police say a man bolted from the car and resisted arrest before being brought under control.

Police say he had brass knuckles on him and tried to take an officer’s gun during the scuffle.
