Saskatoon Police say a 26 year old man who was beat up, possibly with a bat, on the east side of Circle Drive near the pedestrian walkway at Vancouver Avenue North was attacked around 4:30 in the afternoon on Saturday.
A caller reporting the incident to police says the suspects took off on bicycles toward 22nd Street. Police never found a victim at the scene but got a call about 2 and half hours later and found out the victim had managed to get to a 33rd Street address and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The injured man says he was walking home at the time of the attack and describes the assailants as being dressed all in black with hoods up. He thought they were teenagers with medium to average build, about 6 feet tall. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
