The Saskatchewan Rush came away with the 17-11 victory over the Calgary Roughnecks in NLL pre-season action last night at SaskTel Centre. Ryan Keenan scored four goals including a natural hat trick. Ben McIntosh and Jeff Shattler both had hat tricks as well. The Rush went 7 for 8 on the power play with Mark Matthews scoring two of the team’s 7 power play goals. Saskatchewan will formally get the 2019 regular season under way on Friday, December 28th when they head out to take on the New England Black Wolves. The Rush will raise their 2018 championship banner at the home-opener on January 5th against the San Diego Seals. The next Rush radio broadcast will be on December 28th when the Rush head east to take on New England. The broadcast on 92-9, THE BULL starts at 5:30 p.m. and the play-by-play at 6:30 p.m.
