Next March, communities across the province that have signed up for the in motion Community Challenge will be attempting to record the most physical activity minutes for a chance at winning $10 thousand dollars to help develop a new outdoor play structure.
Kim Herperger from in motion says in past Community Challenges, the winning community has used their winnings towards renovating an outdoor pool, building new playgrounds and trails.
The early bird deadline is December 14th and communities that sign up before hand will receive additional activity minutes.
The official deadline is February 8th and below is a link to sign up for the Community Challenge.
Herperger adds the sign up form requires the signature of the Mayor or Chief and a description of the project in which the money will go towards.
