The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a 911 call about someone possibly being trapped outside of Saskatoon at a rural site in the area of Highway 16 and Floral Road yesterday afternoon (Fri) and found one person dead.

The Fire Department often helps to extricate people with their specialty tools when there has been an accident.

Around 3 o’clock, emergency crews were dispatched and found a body, but there are no details being released as to whether there was a vehicle involved or the approximate age of the person.

RCMP say Occupational Health and Safety is continuing to investigate.
