Three officers from the Saskatoon Police Service will be among the throngs attending the regimental funeral for the two Fredericton constables who were shot and killed on August 10th.
Constables Robb Costello and Sara Burns responded to an apartment complex and were shot from a top floor window, as were 2 civilians, Bobbie Lee Wright and Donnie Robichaud.
It is expected thousands of police officers, first responders and dignitaries from across the country will attend the funeral on Saturday.
Because there isn’t enough room the public can’t attend, but there will be a procession of police marching to the funeral so the public can pay their respects along the street.
