Manufacturing sales fell 11 per cent in Saskatchewan, May-to-June. That was the largest drop of the provinces. Statistics Canada says that follows three monthly increases. Lower sales in pesticides, fertilizers, and other agricultural chemical products were mostly responsible. Nationally, sales were up about 1 per cent month-to-month. Also at the national level, sales were up 6.9 per cent from June of last year. In Saskatchewan, sales were up nearly 14 per cent year-to-year. Only Newfoundland and Labrador could top that. Total sales in Saskatchewan came in at over $1.4 billion dollars.
