EpiPens are in short supply throughout pharmacies in Canada. Pfizer Canada says there are continuous issues at their manufacturing facility. Myla Wollbaum with the Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan says once wholesalers are depleted, pharmacies across Saskatchewan and Canada won’t be able to order additional EpiPen supply as there will be none to order. The last shipment will be sent out in late August. Wollbaum says a solution to this issue is to purchase TWO junior EpiPens from pharmacies. She also says expired serums can still be used up to two years after their expiry date.
