Saskatchewan finished eighth, 78 shots back of winning Quebec, in the inter-provincial team portion of the Canadian Junior Women’s Championship near Vancouver.
None of the four Saskatchewan entrants made the 36-hole individual cut of 165. Brooklin Fry of Shell Lake was 182 and Sarah Grieve of Saskatoon came in at 188.
Meanwhile, Colby Friedrich of the Battlefords is tied for 65th place at 228 through 54 holes…16 strokes off the lead going into the fourth and final round of the Canadian Junior Men’s Championship in Medicine Hat.
