High demand for Humboldt Strong t-shirts has resulted in a Saskatchewan apparel company making a big donation to the Humboldt Strong Community Foundation. Humboldt based Spotlight Sport and Corporate Wear donated just over 304 thousand dollars to the foundation last week, much of that coming from t-shirt sales, where twenty dollars from each one sold was allocated for donation. Owner Mike Yager says throughout the whole time, he and his staff experienced a wide range of emotion.
But, he says, at the end of the day, they are very happy with the amount of support from around the world. The Humboldt Strong Community Foundation has raised millions of dollars in memory of the sixteen members of the Humboldt Broncos who were killed in the tragic bus crash on April 6th.
