After Greyhound Canada announced the ending of service to nearly all Western Canada by the end of October, an Ontario bus company is hoping to fill their vacated shoes. Kasper Transportation, based out of Thunder Bay, has announced plans to add routes linking Thunder Bay to Winnipeg, and Winnipeg with Brandon, Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert. CEO Kasper Wabinski says this is a chance to re-invent the bus industry. He points to Europe as a place where there are many different bus companies operating. Wabinski says expansion into the Western Canadian market is also a chance for them to grow their brand.
