Just before 7:30 last night, a 36 year old man was taken to hospital by Medavie Health Services after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with another vehicle at the intersection of Preston Avenue and 8th Street.
The motorcycle was heading southbound on Preston Avenue when a second vehicle heading northbound attempted to make a left hand turn resulting in the two vehicles colliding.
The 61 year old driver of the second vehicle was not injured and has been charged with failing to yield the right of way when making a left turn.
The motorcyclist injuries are non-life threatening.
