Battleford RCMP have arrested a 34 year old man in connection with an incident which happened on Wednesday around 12:30 p.m.
The arrest follows an incident in which a man was seen stealing items from a store in North Battleford and allegedly threatened an employee with a knife before leaving.
The man faces charges which include theft under 5 thousand dollars and assault with a weapon and an additional chargeof theft under 5 thousand dollars from an occurance from July 14th at a business on east Territorial Drive.
The man will make his first court appearance tomorrow in North Battleford.
