Country Thunder music festival is just around the corner. Security will be a bit heavier this year, especially after online threats made to the festival late last year. Kim Blevins GM of Country Thunder music festival says they will be changing the entrance system of main street as a part of new protocol. The people will have to go through a bag-check process. They won’t allow backpacks, big purses, or coolers on Main Street anymore. There is also a clear-bag policy so that security can see what people are bringing into the concert area. Back in November, a 30 year old Fort Qu’Appelle man was charged with uttering threats and breach of probation. Country thunder is this Thursday through Sunday.
