Environment Canada reports approximately 55 millimetres of rain fell at Hudson Bay .
Melfort picked up about 40 millimetres, with Nipawin and Yorkton between 35 and 40 millimetres.
The Saskatoon airport recorded only 4 millimetres of rain on Wednesday. Rosetown had 9 millimetres, Kindersley 5 millimetres and Prince Albert 10 millimetres. Farmers in these areas were hoping for larger amounts.
