Saskatoon Police are reminding all those taking in Canada Day celebrations that there will be traffic restrictions in place around Diefenbaker Park, and in particular, after the fireworks end. Once the fireworks get underway, there is no longer access to the park. And officers will be on site helping direct traffic after the fireworks are over in order to get everyone safely on their way home. A quick reminder – if you don’t want to enter the park to watch the fireworks, don’t stop your vehicle on roadways, overpasses or bridges, in order to view the display.
