Last night shortly after 9, Prince Albert Police responded to a shooting in an alley in the 200 block of 9th Street East.
EMS also responded to the scene and treated a 28 year old man for a gunshot wound to the face.
He was transported to local hospital in critical condition and has since been transferred to Saskatoon for further treatment.
A home in the 900 block of 3rd Avenue East was contained by police and is believed to be related to the incident.
Investigators are searching the home and area for evidence.
No arrests have been made and the motive is unclear.
Police believe the the shooting is not random.
