CAA Saskatchewan warns higher traffic volume over the summer means drivers need to be more careful.
People who drive while using cell phones, eating or even grooming are eight times more likely to get into accidents.
The organization also points out summer driving means more farm machinery, RV’s and possibly wildlife on the road.
Even after school gets out for the summer, there will still be a lot of children in school yards, playgrounds and parks, so CAA Saskatchewan urges drivers to proceed with caution in those areas.
