Downtown Saskatoon will be the site of tomorrow’s Pride Parade in Saskatoon.
Last the event, which is the largest parade in Saskatchewan, saw more than 5 thousand people line the streets to watch the floats make their way through Saskatoon’s city centre.
Amy Rees, Co-Chair of Saskatoon Pride says support for the event continues to grow every year.
She points to the Public School Board bringing about 500 people and the record amount people who attended last year.
Rees is hopeful that this year the parade will attract another record amount of people surpassing last year’s total of 5 thousand.
Tomorrow’s parade kicks-off at 1 p.m. and wraps up at 2.
Parade route:
The parade will start in Kiwanis Park and move from Spadina Crescent, west on 24th Street, south on 4th Avenue, west on 22nd Street, south on 1st Avenue, east on 20th Street before ending at 3rd Avenue and 19th Street.
