A 56 year old Regina man has been charged in connection to two recent robberies in Regina. The first one occurred yesterday around three in the afternoon after a masked man entered a business with a firearm in the 600 block of College Avenue, demanded money and merchandise and fled.
Later that same day, around 6:30 p.m., a man entered a store in the 3800 block of Sherwood Drive and pointed a firearm at the clerk.
The clerk then handed over cash and the man fled.
56 year old Timothy Solomon faces multiple charges including two counts of possession of a firearm and ammunition contrary to prohibition order and two counts of armed robbery using a firearm.
Solomon made his first court appearance this morning.
A firearm hasn’t been recovered and police are continuing the investigation.
