Saskatoon’s Pride Month is well under for 2018 and there are still a lot of events scheduled over the next week including a Family Day Carnival today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm. Amy Rees, Co-Chair of Saskatoon Pride says the event was a success last year and that this year will include a free barbecue and the only cost is the 2 dollar entrance fee into the zoo.
The carnival will also have clowns and there also be carnival theme games as well.
Another Pride Month event that will be happening today will be “OUT on the River” which is an hour and a half boat cruise on the Prairie Lily that will get underway at 3:15 this afternoon. Rees says the cruise will feature a DJ and drag queens.
