The Humboldt Broncos are making progress rebuilding for the 2018-2019 SJHL season.
The hockey club has been humbled and overwhelmed by the number of applicants for the team’s Head Coach and General Manager position.
Broncos president Kevin Garinger says so many good people have applied for the job, the club needs more time to review all the applications.
So far the Broncos have held an invite only camp free agent camp where 120 players attended, drafted six players as a result of 2018-19 SJHL Bantam Draft, selected 10 players as part of the SJHL dispersal draft, and continued working on filling the team’s expanded 55 player list.
The club is also continuing work to plan a training camp in August and the team has also begun planning on the 2018-19 exhibition season.
