Around 12:30 yesterday morning, Rosthern RCMP pulled over a vehicle for speeding near Rosthern on Highway 11.
Once officers approached the vehicle, they saw signs of impairment.
The vehicle then fled the scene heading south on Highway 11.
Warman RCMP were then able to successfully deploy a tire deflation device at the intersection of Highways 11 and 12.
The driver then fled the vehicle on foot by was apprehended by officers a short time after.
The 42 year old driver has been charged with dangerous driving, operation of a motor vehicle while being impaired and two other charges.
The man will appear in court tomorrow at 9 a.m.
