Statistics Canada says the country lost 7,500 jobs in May but the national unemployment rate remained at 5.8 per cent. Saskatchewan is up to 6.8 from 6.3. Four provinces were higher. Saskatoon rose to 6.8 from 6.7. Of 34 cities surveyed, five had higher numbers.
