Depending on where you live, you may notice more people choosing active modes of transportation today. Many communities and schools across the province are participating in Walk ‘n’ Roll Day. Organizer of the event for the Yorkton Regional High School, Roby Sharpe, says it’s just a chance to remind people you could walk or cycle or skateboard or any other mode of active transportation you might choose, instead of driving. He suggests those that choose to drive today should be aware there may be more bicycles and pedestrians on the streets.
