The Canadian Pacific Railway will be doing repairs and maintenance to the pedestrian rail bridge that connects Spadina Crescent to the university starting today (tues) through Thursday.
The work was originally scheduled to have been done at an earlier date but was rescheduled. Both road and trail users on the Spadina Crescent side of the bridge are advised to steer clear of the bridge and any potential hazards while the work is being done. The bridge itself will be closed for the work.
Today (tues) the southbound exit lanes from Idylwyld Drive to 8th Street will be closed as crews replace an overhead sign.
The closure is scheduled to last a few hours after the morning commute.
The city says drivers can expect delays as the work is being completed.
There will be road closures for resurfacing work in Kelsey Woodlawn this week. Tuesday and Wednesday it will take place on Ontario Avenue between 36th Street and 39th Streets. While overnight work is underway the roadways under construction will be completely closed to traffic
