Decoration Day ceremonies in Saskatoon get under way this afternoon at 2:30.
The annual tribute to those who died while in military service to Canada starts with a parade at the entrance to Woodlawn Cemetery. The main service begins at 3 p.m.
Decoration Day began as an annual tribute to fallen soldiers with the tidying of their graves following the winter season.
It started before the establishment of Remembrance Day.
