A second person has been charged in connection to a Regina Police investigation into 4 separate shooting incidents in 2015.
Just before 1 in the morning on Nov 12th, police responded to a restaurant where patrons said they heard 2 loud bangs and then saw the window glass break, but the bullets didn’t completely penetrate so there were no injuries.
About 20 minutes later a shot was fired into a living room window of a home, but the woman on the couch wasn’t injured..
Three days later around 11:30 in the evening, police were called to a restaurant a block away from the first restaurant where an employee was shot twice as she was closing the business. She was treated and survived.
Then, just a few minutes later at the original restaurant a male was shot as he was entering.
Investigators discovered a cache of firearms and ammunition two days later.
A 16 year old boy was arrested and charged in October of 2016 and a second suspect, who was 18 at the time, was identified during the investigation.
Jordan Lee Mymko of Regina is facing 8 charges including 2 charges each of attempted murder and use of a firearm while committing an indictable offence.
He made his first court appearance on Monday.
