Sparks from metal cutting equipment set off a fire in a scrap yard just before six o’clock last evening (tues). The Saskatoon Fire Department headed out to the yard on 71st Street with three engines, a ladder truck, one heavy rescue truck, a water tanker and an off-road fire truck. The fire was quickly put out. No one was hurt.
