The Saskatoon SPCA is gearing up for their Annual Spring Gala. This year’s gala is taking place tomorrow (sat) at the Western Development Museum and will feature a “Wild, Wild Pets” theme. Jasmine Hanson of the SPCA says the annual event is their biggest fundraising event of the year as all the proceeds from the gala will go towards helping support the approximately 4 thousand pets that the SPCA cares for each year.
Hanson says they often use the funds from the annual event to help pay for medicine and other medical costs associated with the pets that may need a little extra care.
Tomorrow’s event will include a silent auction, raffle prizes, live entertainment and animals on site at the WDM.
