A protesting group camped outside the Saskatchewan legislature will get a long-awaited meeting with government officials next week. Central Services minister Ken Cheveldayoff says the government recognizes freedom of expression as an essential right. He says he and the Minister of Justice will be meeting with them but he says the lawn at the legislature needs maintenance and they are going to be turning sprinklers on so the protesters have to move out. The protestors have been camped out there for more than 85 days. NDP leader Ryan Meili says he has met with the group concerned about justice, child welfare and impact of colonialism and invited the Premier to do the same. They reportedly also want to discuss racism and the outcome of the Colten Boushie case. (CKRM)
