There are 13 wildfires burning in the province. Six are not contained and are expected to grow in size. Five fires are contained. In one fire, crews are protecting values in the area, such as cabins and infrastructure. Another fire is being monitored regularly to assess risk. The five year average for this time of year is to have had 122 fires burning. So far this year, we have had 181.
